Both the HUD 300 and HUD 600 are equipped with a fuel heater.
At minus 5 degrees Celsius and below, the fuel heater preheats the fuel fully automatically, regulating itself. At temperatures above 21 degrees Celsius, the heater switches off automatically to avoid a continued strain on the electrical system. The heater prevents possible clogging of the filter element by waxy kerosene particles. The engine can be started without problems and is ready for use at any time.
